Get the most out of your two week travel adventure

So you only have time for a two-week travel adventure this year?

Let’s face it, not everyone has the luxury of time or even the desire to go backpacking around the world for months on end. You may have pets or kids at home or your job requires you to take shorter breaks. Whatever your reasons, I’m here to tell you that we’ve been there too.  I will not make you feel like less of an adventurer just because you have to fit it into a two week time-frame.

Some of our best travel memories happened on short duration trips. We experienced parts of mainland Ecuador and the Galapagos, travelled around Peru and also ventured through four countries in Central America all in two weeks or less. Did I mention we didn’t even have to plan it all out?

There’s a lot less overwhelm!

Small Group Adventure Travel

Small group adventure travel often consists of multi-stop, multi-activity tours with like-minded people from all over the globe. It’s an amazing way to see the world and make new friends without the stress of planning or logistics.

Who is it for?

Short on time? Don’t want the hassle of planning? Anxious about the logistics of travel once you are there? A solo traveller? Want to experience more than an all-inclusive resort compound?

Small group travel is for anyone. There are different levels of comfort ranging from basic to luxury and different price points to match. Some trips are geared specifically to age groups while others are geared to activity level.

If you are at all anxious about the idea of travelling in a foreign country but really want to get out there and experience things, this style of travel is definitely for you.

Where do you find these trips?

While there are several main tour operators that come to mind when thinking of small group travel, I personally only have experience with one – G Adventures

I’ve been consistently impressed with the detail that goes into planning their trips and the quality of service from booking through to tour leaders. They genuinely care about the planet and the people who live in the countries they visit.
