A couple of days of progress last week. The roof structure went up giving a much better idea of the final design. There are overhangs on all sides with a little more off the front and it is sloped enough for water to run that way too.
WD can’t reach the roof deck now until we put access in but before the top went on he was enjoying feeling like dogzilla compared to the Norweigan Sun cruise ship that comes through once a week. This is one of the Vancouver to Alaska cruises. 848 ft long, 108 ft wide, 13 decks holding 2002 passengers and 968 crew. The number of snacks that must be on board boggles his little dog mind.
Wow, so can you have a dance to celebrate opening day of the house? How much thumping of feet would be allowed? Looks cool, can’t wait to see it all. xo AT
The slope/grade alongside the house gives the illusion of a flat roof! Very cool. And yes, Brody is right in thinking he is much bigger than that piddly little cruise ship he is eyeballing! Lol! Another trick of the eye…
