This stretch of sunny, warm weather has been unbelievable and I dare say summer is upon us. It has made me want to pick up my camera and snap away. May marks the start of cruise ship season. In the past two days alone we have seen the Norweigian Sun and Disney Wonder pass in front of us as they meander from Alaska back to Vancouver.At the exact moment I took this picture, Disney Wonder blew the horn. Of course it played ‘When You Wish Upon a Star’.
There is just an overall increase in boat traffic around and this one was a surprise one night heading into our harbour where it currently sits at the docks.
We have been busy working on the front siding and although it isn’t entirely finished it is too exciting not to post about it so here is a sneak peak.
WD has been hard at work in his position of Site Supervisor. Although apparently we work too slowly for him to be able to actually supervise.
The neighbours have all been quite active as well with all this beautiful weather.
And WD has been helping the crows out by recycling some soft nest material for them. What a thoughtful guy he is.
Wow again, looking great. Isn’t it nice to see the warm weather, we are still getting rained on here, but I am arriving in Victoria tomorrow so looking forward to summer at the coast. Love AT
