One day in Hawaii

Hawaii is an excellent stopover when travelling from Canada to Australia, albeit an expensive one. That’s why we only spent one full day there on our latest trip to the southern hemisphere.

It was just enough time to pull out the camera and wander around Ala Moana Park. Amazingly, there were very few people milling about.

If you’ve been following my adventures, you know that it’s very hard for me to pass by good street art and not take a picture.

Some fresh papaya, exploring a new area with a new camera and warm sun – this 6-week adventure was off to a perfect start. Of course, we were uncertain what we were heading into with all the fire activity in Australia. Were we going to have to change our plans? Stay tuned to find out.

  1. I love the shot of the fellow on the bench with the birds beside him.
The harbor image is a really good capture.
