Almost decided to stay an extra night in Riding Mountain this morning but did a very quick tour of the little village area and moved on. Beautiful lake. Too bad the sites weren’t right on the water here.
Basically just kept driving all the way through Saskatchewan and out the other side. Though it is day 4 and I have yet to actually get behind the wheel myself. Some fun and pretty scenery along the way.
We started seeing these little huts in some of the fields. There were dozens of them in some places. We assumed it had something to do with oil but since it was a good internet day I looked it up and they are for alfalfa leafcutter bees – who knew?
It started raining bugs before really raining but overall beautiful and hot once we got out of Manitoba. I think it went down to 6 or 7 degrees overnight last night and the tent, although shiny and new is still just a tent.
First campsite to have cell cover so today’s post can actually be posted today. Our home is all ready for us.
