Welcome

My name is Jenn. I started blogging as a way for my family and friends to keep track of our whereabouts since we are not prone to sticking in one place for very long.

This is probably the closest you will find me to being in front of a camera

I really enjoyed it. It gave me something to focus my brain on and plot out what I wanted to accomplish.

Then it morphed into a tiny house (under 500 sq ft) building blog as we found a patch of land and built our own house – mostly DIY style.

I call this our ‘basecamp’ and it’s located in a pretty amazing place.

The next phase is to be here part-time and travel part-time.

Details

I cannot function without knowing all the details.

I’d like to say that I am spontaneous and carefree but that’s rarely ever the case.

That doesn’t mean I’m not an adventurer. I just need to know all the options, all the details before committing to anything.

Sifting through the overwhelm to narrow down the details is why this site exists.

About Page
This is actually my brain. No doubt stuffed full of useless information

Overwhelm

The availability of information these days is ridiculous. One could spend days researching and still feel lost.

I know this feeling very well. We spend a lot of time together.

I easily get lost in this overwhelm and forget where I’ve been so I decided to take notes and leave them here for future reference and in doing so, I may just help others who also find themselves a little lost in the wanderness.

If you’ve been nodding in agreement, feel free to poke around and hopefully I can help reduce some of the overwhelm you may be feeling or at least entertain you with tales of my adventures.
