It felt like we drove forever but apparently it was only about 14 kms or so from town. There is a short trail down to the beach and then a nice walk along the beach.
We could hear the fog horn earlier in the day but while we were exploring all we could hear was the incessant barking of a dog that seemed to come from nowhere. WD got his first real off leash activity although he wasn’t really playing as much as running around near barking dog. She was a happy creature and we found her people (or we assumed they were her people) at the end of the point.
We carried on back the way we came and headed for home stopping to enjoy the sights and sounds.
I think WD enjoyed his off leash freedom.
